Things to Know if You're Marketing on the Internet
1. According to Nielson NetRatings, the US accounts for 29% of the global Internet access universe, Europe, 23%, Asia-Pacific, 13%, and Latin America, 2%.
2. The US still leads in web usage. As of May '03, the number of sessions/visits per month for US individuals was 30 at home, 66 at work with 25 hours spent online. Figures for the UK: 23 sessions a month (home and work combined), average time spent, 11 hours. For Australia, 25 sessions per month (home and work combined), with 13 hours spent online.

How To Stay Focused, Part I
Staying focused means getting those distractions out of the way that are keeping you from accomplishing what you want to. Life is full of ways to let ourselves become distracted. Pleasures and competing obligations are always calling to us.

How to Stay Focused, Part II: The Role of the Leader
Last time we talked about staying focused - getting those distractions out of the way that keep us from accomplishing what we want to. We agreed that life is full of distractions- pleasures and obligations-that can pull us off task.
We studied the painting "Ulysses," by Draper as an example of Intentionality, an emotional intelligence competency. Intentionality means doing what needs to be done to accomplish what you set out to do. It's meaning what you say, and saying what you mean, and then taking the action steps that will bring the intention to fruition.
