Work at Home Team ArticlesWorking at Home Online -- Real People
Recently a friend asked me why I liked working "all alone" on the internet.
I glibly replied that being "alone" was exactly what I liked about working at home.
"It's just me and my computer...and maybe a cat and a dog or two", I told her.
"There are no people to interrupt or irritate me when i'm working at home online."
She laughed and we moved on to other topics.
In the following days, my comments came back to me again and again. There was
something wrong about what I had said, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. What Are You Doing With Your Website Traffic?
The endless quest of every webmaster seems to be
to get more and more traffic. After all, more traffic
means more sales... doesn't it. Your answer to that
question should be "not necessarily."
The utility of your traffic depends upon how you've
structured your site. It depends upon what your site
is set up to accomplish. It depends upon the path that
you guide your website visitor down as he travels from
page to page. You do have a path laid out on your site
for you visitor to follow, don't you. How I Get ALL The Subscribers I Want, And You Can Too!
That's a very bold title, and even more impressive because I DO
get all of the subscribers I want on a continuous basis. How
can this be true and how do I do it?
First of all, I do have limits on the number of subscribers that
I want. How many subscribers I desire on a list depends upon the
purpose of that list. I hope that you build your lists the same
way. Many online entrepreneurs just build lists as large as
possible without any real concern for how qualified the list
members are. |
