Effective use of Free Classifieds

This course is published here to help all the Work at Home Team SFI Affiliates.

NOTE: Pay special attention to the sections on KEY CODES and ADWIZARD. If you don't, your free ad campaign will fail! In the beginning you will need to place at least 100 ads a day for your free ad campaign to be effective. This workload will diminish greatly after a few months.

Firstly you need to download Adwizard. To download Adwizard for free, click here:

KEY CODES are very important because they tell you where your affiliates are coming from. In other words, they tell you which ad sites are productive. You will need to put a different key code on your SFI URL for each ad site. You can choose any combination of 3 digits for your key code such as 123, 543, 999, 276, etc... You can also use single and double digits: 3, 6, 8, 11, 23, 56, etc...

Here's how you add the key code to your URL:
URL without key code: http://www.yourgatedomain.com/XXXXXX/FREE
URL with key code: http://www.yourgatedomain.com/XXXXXX.101/FREE

You simply ad a dot and your key code after your affiliate number. You will need to numerically record your key codes with the corresponding ad sites on a separate text page so it will be easy to find which site the key code belongs to.

ADWIZARD: The best thing about Adwizard is that it organizes your ad campaign.

It is very important to keep detailed records of your ads. Follow these instructions, and in 2 to 4 months you should be generating at least 3 or 4 affiliates a day, with very little effort. Building a base of productive ad sites is what will take time. After you have your base of productive ad sites, it's simply a matter of keeping your ads at those sites updated. (Adwizard will automatically tell you what sites need to be updated). You'll have to work pretty hard for a while before you start seeing a steady stream of affiliates, but it's worth it!

The first thing you need to do is go to Adwizard and create a new group. Place your pointer at the box underneath Groups and right click your mouse. Click on Add New Group. Name this new group something like Good Sites, or Productive Sites. This new group is solely for ad sites that you know are producing affiliates for you. This is where your key codes come in.

When one of your ads produces an affiliate, SFI will send you an e-mail which will include the key code of the site that produced the affiliate.

Fantastic! You now have a new affiliate and a free ad site that you know is productive! You now need to place this free ad site in your Productive Sites group. To do this, find the site in Adwizard under the All Items group, click on it to highlight it, then right click on it and select Groups, then click on your Productive Sites group. This will copy that website from the All Items group to your new Productive Sites group.

Notice the top right Web Site box on Adwizard. This is the website address or URL of the corresponding highlighted website. Adwizard will hold at least 1500 websites, so anytime you place an ad at a new site, be sure to add that site to Adwizard. After you place an ad, record the ad number and password on a piece of paper. You will need these later to delete and repost your ads.

NOTE:

When you return to an ad site, you want to delete your ads and place new ones instead of just renewing your old ones. This puts your ads back at the top where they will be the first ones to be seen. If you just renew your ads they will stay buried way down the line where they are basically useless. And if you post new ads without deleting your old ones, you run the chance of being accused of spamming that site!

After posting your ads to a new site, you'll need to add that site to Adwizard. At the top of your browser where it says Address, click on that address once which will highlight the free site address. Then in the upper left corner of your browser click on Edit, then click Copy. Next go to the All Items group in Adwizard and click on New. When the Add new entry window pops up, hold down Ctrl on your keyboard and press V. This will paste the address into the name box. While still in the name box, press the left-pointing arrow at bottom right of your keyboard until it stops in the box. Then erase the http://www. part of the address by punching the Delete key. Then click on OK in the Add new entry window.

EXAMPLE:

Address pasted into box: http://www.asiapoint.net/photoads/newad.html

Name after deleting the http://www.: asiapoint.net/photoads/newad.html

Next, go to the top box in Adwizard where it says Web Site. Place your cursor in the box, hold down Ctrl on your keyboard and press V. This will place the complete address in the box. Next, go to the Repeat (Days) box and change it to 14.

Next, record your ad numbers and passwords in the large Rules & Comments box. Place any other notes you may have about the site in this box. That's it. You're done! Now just click on Done at the bottom of Adwizard. This will automatically reset the Last submitted date. After clicking on Done, you will see a green check mark to the left of the ad site name. This arrow will automatically turn to a red Undone Clock symbol after 14 days. Anytime you see this red symbol beside any ad site, it means it's time to go back to that site, delete your ads and post new ones. This keeps your ads fresh, always near the top for maximum exposure.

Your main goal is to increase the number of sites in your Productive Sites group, making sure they are always updated. There should never be a red Undone symbol in your Productive Sites group.

MOST IMPORTANT NOTE:

As the number of sites in your Productive Sites group grows, so will the number of your daily affiliate referrals! After you have placed about 100 sites in your Productive Sites group, then it's simply a matter of keeping them updated which should only take about 5-10 hours a week! By now you should be producing 4 or 5 affiliates a day! If you continue referring this many affiliates, your SFI business will build itself for many years to come!
