Build your websiteThis course is published here to help all the Work at Home Team SFI Affiliates. The best way to start building your new website is to have your Work at Home Team Leader build it for you. Please contact your Team Leader and ask for your personal web page. Another way is to download the New one page SFI, FCS and Mint Mail Template After you have downloaded the template you will have to double click on it to unzip it. Making the changes to the template.You will need a text editor, Notedpad will do fine, but I prefer to use Arachnophilia. It is a free tool to automatically create HTML pages. You can download it at here.You have to locate 6 lines in the template, this will be the ones you will insert your own ID into. Open Notepad or Arachnophilia and direct it to where you saved the template, make sure that you see all files. Now locate the 6 lines we have to edit and these should be easy to locate, empty lines over and under. The lines will look like this:
<A HREF="http://www.yourgateway/xxxxxx"> You will find 2 urls from each of the 3 sites. Now just replace yourgateway with the one you were assigned, ezinfocenter.com or quickinfo247.com and the 'xxxxxx' with your SFI ID. Replace the 'xxxx' with your Mint Mail ID. Save the template. You should really make more changes to the template like changing the Title, Description and the Meta Keywords so that your template will be different from others. Locate these lines near the top:
<TITLE>SFI,FCS and Mint Mail</TITLE> Now change the text in red to your own, i.e something about work at home. Save the template again. Copy your SFI Team Leader again. Spend some time to learn HTML basics. After you have learned the basics add to your template two - three paragraphs that are keyword - rich, i.e. that contain phrases someone would search with a search engine. How can you find the right keywords? Visit Word Tracker and use their free trial tool. You should also download Good Keywords. Upload the template and all graphics to the same folder on your domain. If you are using FTP make sure that you upload the graphics as Binary and the index.html as ASCII. You can learn more about uploading with FTP here .
